K-6th Grade Program

EzraGuitar’s Summer Enrichment Program is a celebration of artistic expression from around the world!  This summer campers can choose to travel to Brazil, the British Isles, India or all three! Each session explores the beautiful and unique music, theatre, art and folktales of each region.  Students receive daily: Guitar lessons, Theatre class, Visual art, a lively World Music “Jump and Jam session!” and outdoor play time!

Families and friends, join us for a final Friday-showcase performance on the last day of each summer session on The Red Stage at EzraGuitar!

2 Week Session: $980 + $40 Registration Fee (one time for the whole summer)

Hours (extended, like last year!): 8am-3:30pm 

After Program Hours (after 3:30pm): Add on 2 private, 30 minute guitar lessons per week (4 lessons per 2 week session) at a discounted rate: $180 per session

Aftercare hours 3:30pm-6:00pm are offered by our Summer Program partner: Urban Martial Arts (with walking drop off by EzraGuitar staff), *payment for this option is done directly through Urban Martial Arts

Session II: THE BRITISH ISLES! July 22nd –  August 2nd

What’s Exciting About Our Summer Camp This Year?

• • Camp hours are extended an extra hour and a half! With drop off as early as 8:00AM each day and pick up this year is at 3:30PM! Our first master class of the day kicks off promptly at 8:30AM each morning! We’ve added more time to make room for more music programming each day!

• • LOTS of guitar instruction! Students receive group guitar lessons 5 days a week! Our older campers in grades 3 through 6 (based on enrollment) will take our ETI class daily: which focuses on more advanced Ensemble work, Technique and Improvisation.

  • All campers will have an additional, ensemble based music class, 5 days a week called “World Music Jump and Jam Session.” These are daily 45 minute jam sessions incorporating guitar, percussion and movement! We are developing our students sense of rhythm, giving them an opportunity to work together as a band, and celebrating the outcome of creative cooperation!

•  We have found that our campers crave informal down-time to rehearse and jam together, and we love that! So we have built that special time into the day!

Group Guitar Lesson/Visual Art Master Class/Time to Jam/**ETI (for kids in grades 3-6)

12:15-1:00pm: World Music Jump & Jam Session

1-1:30pm: Lunch

1:30-2:45pm: Outdoor fun time

2:45-3:00pm: Snack

3:00-3:30pm: Wind-down group activity (engaging in the theme of the week)

3:30pm: Regular Day Dismissal

After hours: **Private lessons and/or walk over to Urban Martial Arts for after care program.

**4 (30 min) Private lessons can be added on to your camper’s day per session for an additional fee.
