We are delighted to welcome our own faculty member Octávio Deluchi for the release of his new publication, Chiquinha Gonzaga: Guitar Arrangements, published by Productions d’Oz. The book features twelve newly crafted solo guitar arrangements of works by Chiquinha Gonzaga, one of Brazil’s most important and pioneering composers.
The evening will include:
- A live performance of selections from the new arrangements
- Insight into the arranging process and adapting repertoire for guitar
- A conversation with the audience and Q&A
- Book signing and reception
