| Kids learn music the fun way! |
In 2005 While living in Paris France, Israeli guitarist Maoz Ezra developed a teaching method for the kindergarten children he had been giving music lessons to. Those lessons developed into EzraGuitar for Little stars , a teaching method that teaches children how to play, perform and to read music before they even go to school. At first, children will learn how to perform many favorite children songs such as "Twinkle little star", as well as Holiday and family songs that they can play for their families. As they progress through the program, their repertoire will become more varied. Among the many songs they will learn and have fun with will be tunes such as "Autumn Leaves", "Rock around the clock", "yellow submarine" , classical music and many more. Ezraguitar is possible for everyone:

| EzraGuitar is unique by its approach to teaching. It is based on a working group of 4-6 children. By using special group performance techniques, a complicated and challenging instrument like the guitar becomes easier and fun to learn. This method indeed does wonders! Children who study EzraGuitar not only learn to play many songs, but they acquire other important skills such as the ability to read music, hear and play rhythms. These basic skills are the building blocks for further music education. Apart from the musical skills gained from EzraGuitar children develop:
Through the 9 stages of the program , children will learn vast repertoire of different styles. They will be familiar with all six strings of the guitar in all the positions. With over 200 graduates since it's initiation in Paris in 2005, the method has been taught to Sharett school in Paris, as well as to numerous schools in the New York city greater area including PS 199 , PS 58, Solomon Schechter school and the 92 street Y, among others. Over the last four years enrollments have significantly increased, reflecting the popularity of the method among the children in the surrounding area. |
